Here’s how to look up your Things Cloud password in iCloud Keychain.
These instructions are for iOS 17, macOS 14, and visionOS 1 or earlier. If you’re on an later OS, see this page instead.
iPad & iPhone
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings.
- Tap Passwords.
- To find the login details for Things, search for “cloud.culturedcode.com”.
- Tap the item that shows the Things app icon.
- Tap the password, then choose Copy.
Mac
Password AutoFill for apps only works on iPhone, iPad, and Vision; you cannot AutoFill your Things Cloud credentials on a Mac. But if you’ve created or saved your password via in your iCloud Keychain on another device, you can look it up on your Mac.
- On your Mac, open Settings → Passwords.
- To find the login details for Things, search for “cloud.culturedcode.com”.
- Double-click the item that shows the Things app icon.
- Click the dots (•••••) that obscure your password, then choose Copy Password.
If you don’t find your password there, see if you can copy it over to your Mac from another device:
- On your iPhone, iPad, or Vision, open Settings.
- Tap Passwords.
- To find the login details for Things, search for “cloud.culturedcode.com”.
- Tap the item that shows the Things app icon.
- Tap the password, then choose Copy. If you have Universal Clipboard enabled, this will sync it to your Mac’s clipboard. Alternatively, tap Share → Airdrop... to send it to your Mac over the local network.
