Installing Things for iPhone/iPod touch (FAQ)

While you can install Things by first downloading it via iTunes on your computer and then syncing with your iPhone or iPod touch, the most convenient way to install Things is to download it directly onto your iPhone or iPod touch:

  • Launch the App Store
  • Tap the Search tab at the bottom of the screen
  • Tap on the search field and search for "Things" (without quotes)
  • Tap Things, then tap the Purchase button. You will need to authenticate with your iTunes Store account password, and then the app will be downloaded to your iPhone or iPod touch.

If you've already bought Things and need to re-install it: don't worry. You don't have to pay for a purchased app twice.

Just be certain that you are using the same iTunes Store account used to originally purchase the app or you will be charged again.

Also, be aware that the procedure in the App Store is a bit misleading. You have to tap the Purchase button and then you have to confirm the purchase. Only then does it check to see whether you've already bought the app, notifying you that this is actually a free download.
