Very nice start. What is really cool is that one can add custom URLs with icons. Here are a few suggestions:
1. When launching a site, please open it in a new page, so the gridget panel remains available (see appleopolis.com on how that is done
2. Soon there will be so many webapps that a single dashboard page will not be useful. Consider a bottom grid of 4 “folders” that open subpages with more apps. Alternatively, make the entire startpage a category page that slides to the next page when you hit a category folder icon.
